Sweet William - World of Books CD
There are sweet confections travelling by way of Australia in the form of Sweet William. With a catalogue of releases on Matinée, Twee Kitten and Library, they make their debut on Shelflife with their first CD album, "World of Books." Feathery, but not timid boy/girl vocals, sprinkled with strings and handsome harmonies mix with Sarah Records-esque twee pop and hints of electronica a la Stereolab. The CD is a collection of their final recordings made in 1998. Perfect for anyone with a sweet tooth for pretty pop.
